I'm a guy, and my hair is very straight. However, my barber says that I have "thick" hair. I want to have the skater? rocker look; more like Mick Jagger used to have in the 1960s in the pic in the link below. Would using a 3-barrel hair waver get the results that I'm after?

It may. You may need a product to do that and make it last, though. Some sort of hair mousse that will give your hair more volume. The problem I usually have is that the iron does make my hair curly, but my hair doesn't hold the volume, so I think that with the help of a good product, you'll do just fine.
