Just wondering...my daughter had gorgeous curls when she was little and now her hair is dead straight. Anyone know why?

Why do children have curls but straight hair when they get older? Their hair is thinner when they are younger. It is much easier to curl naturally when it hasn't been messed with for too long. My problem is i had curly hair when i was 3, straight hair around 10, and now I'm all curls again!

Even the color has changed, from blck when I was a baby to, redish brown, to light brown to dark brown.

Why do children have curls but straight hair when they get older? i would say because normally when you are a child your hair is lighter and finer, and as you get older your hair becomes thicker and heavier...it may just straighten out because of the weight, especially if it only had a slight curl to it.

Why do children have curls but straight hair when they get older? That's life, my hubbie has a pic from when he was 2 he had really curly blond hair, by the time I met him he was dark brown (his hair) and now it's grey and waving. (Waving Goodbye) poor old sod.
