How do you make short straight hair curly?

i have short hair (just above the shoulders) and it is straight...but i want to be able to curl it for evenings or nights out...but i dont know how without making it look like a poodle just got elecricuted...(sp?) help!!

You could use heat rollers of varying sizes. Smaller rollers for tighter curls, bigger rollers for large curls/waves/volume

It depends what kind of curls you want if you want big wavey curls just get a big round curling iron and use curl enhancing shampooand use lots of hairspray and curl holding mousse.. if you want small ringles use a smaller curling iron and do the same thing if you want kind of crimped curls get the curling iron that looks kind of like a flattened regular curling iron.. hope this helps =]
