Pin straight hair?

how do i get my hair pin straight without paying alot of money to buy a chi or something? how can i without paying more than 30 dollars?

Pin straight hair?

First you need to wash your hair with some sort of shampoo designed to straighten your hair (i recommend John Frieda's Frizz Ease Straight Ahead shampoos and conditioners, the're cheap and they work, you can find them in walmart)

After you wash your hair, straighten it with a hair straightner or flat iron. You should put some sort of protectant or straightning serum in your hair before you use your straightner (like Paul Mitchell's Super Skinny Serum). A good, cheap straightner is Remington's Wet 2 Straight. You could also purchase this at walmart. It works great and it's designed for use on wet hair, although you could use it on dry hair too. But then again, all hair types are diffrent, it might work on yours, but it also might like totally dry it out and damage it really bad. But I'd still try it, just be cautious.

ok, this is going to sound extremely retarded, but i swear it works so well, heat up the iron that you iron clothes with onto a fairly hot setting (cotton) then cover a cd case with a bandana, then use the iron to flat iron your hair, hold the bandana covered cd case underneath the hair to complete the sandwich of the flat iron and to avoid burning yourself. now use just how you would use a flat iron, but don't leave it on way too long, just use it like you would a flat iron sliding it down the hair shaft from root to tip!!! believe me, this works just as well as a chi ever will !!!

all you can do is buy a ceramic flat iron those works wonders on hair.. and hair comes out pretty straight

Why would you want pin straight hair?

my sister in law used to iron her hair I have pin straight hair

If your hair is thin, you could probably get away with using some straightening lotion, blow drying, and using a cheaper straightener from Wal-Mart. I have very thick hair, so the only thing that works for me is a chi.

There's a straightener called "WetNDry" or something close to that. It's what I use and it works wonders!!

i use a flat iron or straightener or w/e you wanna call it. just get a super super hott one and it will work...mine works.

Pin straight hair?

buy a straightening iron and just keep straightening it

Pin straight hair?

i have to assume that you have naturally curly hair. my question to you is, why on earth would you want to have it pin straight??? my hair is naturally pin straight, or as i call it poker straight and i pay money so that it has some body to it and it is curly. no one is ever happy with how their hair looks, but other people might envy how it looks. try styling it and keeping it curly.

from someone who keeps praying that eventually after all the perms that i have gotten my hair with turn curly on its own. lol

I swear by the Maxi-Glide! Saw the infomercial one day and I was sold. My natural hair is like a very large, black birds nest--a nice coarse one. But since the Maxi Glide my hair is fine and pin straight. I can use the tiniest ponytail holder, whereas I used to use a tractor tire. It's expensive though, but it's amortized over the months. I prefer it to other irons because it has teeth and straightens the hair from the root.

wash your hair and dry it at home so when u go to the salon all they do is use the flat iron so u should only pay 20 dollars
