Guys, which do you like better on girls, Curly or Straight hair?

I had a perm but it wore off so my hair is really straight, I don't know what guys like so I don't know whether to get another perm or not. My hair is not frizzy at all when its curly, and its not super tight curls either. And my hair when its straight is SUPER straight. So, what do most guys prefer? Thanxx in advance!!!!

It really depends on facial features to me. If you have big cheeks, curly. Small nose, curly. Big eyes, straight.long eyelashes, curly.

I used to like straight much better, but now I really don't have a preference. I would suggest going with what looks better with your particular face. A hair stylist would probably know which would be best.

I know from experience that guys don't nessecarily look for curly or straight hair, if they find someone they think is 'hot' its not really due to what kind of hair they have, different looks differ from girl to girl.

But I [having straight as hair] prefer having curly, but if you have a chubbyish face keep to straight if you have a thin face you can have both because both will frame your face.

I had pin straight hair. And then I got layers. Layers give it a bit of wave at the tips, kinda curves it inwards. I'd recommend that if you want it not sooo straight but still straight :)

Perm!

It will "PERManently" change the texture of your hair. Perms don't have to mean you end up all curly and poodle-esque, but you can get perms that put a light curl or body into your hair.

Otherwise, you can't really train hair. It doesn't listen.

Hey. I have thick thick straight hair. I got a perm aorund 3 yrs ago and now sometimes when i wash my hair it goes a bit wavy but then wen i brush through it, it becomes straight. I want controlled waves like Kate Beckinsale. But remember I have REALLY thick hair!!! I have a curling Iron and I can buy special gel. I dont want a perm or mousse. go curly gel is good. but what i would do is make large ringlets all over your head then hairspray them, then using your fingers, separate them. add go curly and mess them up ( doesnt make them look messy) simple, easy and looks hot!

for the kate do you would ultimately have to get it perminently straightened and see ..when you wash it you brush it while wet and leave it be when its dry ..90% of thick or curly haired people get straight poofy hair by brushing it while dry..or blow drying it.

i also have extremely straight hair and i use hot rollers. I set them in for 30 minutes (the time spand depends on the length of your hair) then take them out. I finish it with "bed head massive shine hairspray." Just a quick spray all over keeps the curls in tact all day long. if you use too much hairspray, the wait of the spray will pull out the curls (that may be your problem). A curl enhancing mousse might help. TO make it work better, you should get a diffuser for your blowdryer, and use that to "scrunch" your hair. (Don't use your hands). then when it's 80% dry, spritz it with a firm hold hairspray and Voila!

here is a good tip on making your hair wavy.

my girlfriend does it all the time.

wash your hair.

then plat it tightly or get some one to do it for you( while it is still wet )

leave it in for a few hours or aslong as you can ( over night is best.)

when you take out the plats it will have dryed and you hair will be wavy.

im EXACTLY like you with this......and the only thing that works for me is to braid it and let it sit but make sure its dry on the inside AND out before you take it out

PS. french brading always worked better for me but if you dont feel like doing all of the work just brade it regular...

omg my hair is exactly opposite of yours, i have crazy curls and i wish my hair was pin straight! haha coincidence.

anyways, you could put your head upside down while its damp, run mousse throught it all, flip back right-side-up. and then scrunch. and use hairspray after.

Maybe dampen it, add some mouse, and then put multiple braids in it- about 15 or so if possible. Let it dry overnight/ few hours, then take the braids out, and it'll be wavy and not too frizzy. good luck!
