I have this really thick straight stringy red hair and I have almost given up.It is just so annoying to have to constantly brush my hair. Please somebody give me some an answer.
What is the best conditioner for straight hair?
It would be best to try a homemade conditioner rather than buying chemical products that could gradually cause harm to the hair. Here's a recipe for a rose conditioner:
Soak half a cup of rose petals in hot water for some time. Take half a mashed banana (full if you have long tresses), one table-spoon honey, and a tablespoon of coconut/olive oil. Blend all the four ingredients in a blender. Massage well into your hair and scalp, and leave the conditioner on for about half an hour. If you can wrap a warm towel around your head the conditioner will have a better effect. Make sure that you wash off conditioner thoroughly with shampoo. Try it. Good luck.
What is the best conditioner for straight hair?
Try a line like Herbal Essences or Sunsilk, that formulates special kinds for all types. They have a certain kind just for straight hair, try that conditioner. See what the options are, and try different kinds. Most of them are cheap enough to where you can experiment.
Also, don't forget that you shouldn't use conditioner everyday! If you need the smoothness, try detangler spray or maybe something like leave-in conditioning cream.
