Remington wet to straight hair straightener....any good?

just bought a remington wet to straight hair straightener..i was tossing up between that one and a vidal sassoon one. the wet to straight came with a free hair curler so i got that one...plus i like the idea of not having to use a blowdryer! have you got one or tried one? are they any good? just wanna know before i open the package! just in case they suck..then i can return it :o)

It works, but there are some disadvantages....

For example, if you have thick hair or just alot of it, it takes a while because you are only supposed to straighten so much at a time.

Another, for my hair, the straightener worked but made my hair awfully frizzy, so if you are going use one I recommend a frizz ease serum.

It is worth a try, if it doesnt work well for your hair then you can always return it for your money back!! Hope I helped!!

They are horrible! It might be good if your hair is like an inch long. It would take me over 45min to use that thing and my hair was still damp. Not to mention you cant get all the way to the roots, which leaves your roots wet regardless. I literally could hear my hair sizzling, and it was literally breaking off in the straightner. It's just going to damage your hair and it takes way too long. You really have to atleast dry your hair a little bit for it to even be worth while. I'd take it back. I used mine twice before I gave it away to someone for free...

no. i had it. returned it. i had to wear a glove or a sock on one hand cause the vapors kept burning my hand. wait till you feel how it burns your head.

No you should not get the wet to crapface...You should get the Conair 2" Pro Ceramic Straightener - CS36CS at target. I haver and it works really good. Whenever i take a shower in the morning i can actually straighten my hair without blowdrying it. Its a really good straightener and its red. Its only 35 bucks at target. I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!Hoped i helped...

it works but it takes forever and you have to go over the same section of hair hecka times. return it and just invest in a good hair dryer and iron like Chi. I still have my remington, but it's not in use. I use my Chi more.

I have one. It works better on thinner hair i believe but my hair is pretty thick and it works. It takes about 20 or so minutes but it makes your hair really straight. You have to pull your hair up and do it in four or five layers or it won't work...And watch your finger b/c if you get them too close to the top the steam will really burn. Other than that I really love mine. It looks alot better than blow-drying and doesn't take a really long time. =-)

omg! they are terrible! even though they are for use on wet hair, using any hair straightener on wet hair makes it frizzy, and the steam burns your scalp and hands. i have thick wavy/curly hair and it just make my hair a puff ball. i have a sedu, and it works wonders! i got it a folica.com they are kinda pricey but they work great.

It's the best for straightening. but i will admit the wet 2 straight will take u forever. it is easier to dry ur hair first.

I have pretty long hair and I used to love those white Revlon straighteners because they tamed the Beast, but since they discontinued them or whatever, I bought the wet to straight one and it works great as long as your hair is not drenched. I tried once to straighten it when I got out of the shower but it didn't work so great, so I just use it as a regular straightener on dry hair.

it's the best straightener ever!!! previously i had a ghd and its good. but about a week ago i just bought the wet to straight and it is FANTASTIC. its way better than ghd. it only take me like 20 minutes max to straithen it. the result so straight, super soft and non- frizzy. I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
