my hair is absolutely straight. i used to like straight hair but its tooooo straight. and im thinking of getting my hair layered. how do i get that cute flippy look you see everywhere? i cant get my hair done everyday. wat should i do to keep it that way at home?

I had to deal with the same hard to manage hair with my daughter. Hers was that way from toddler age. I had the hardest time wrapping it around a roller! We found that the little pink sponge rollers were best for daily use with a good gel. For special things like prom we would use hot sticks and gel for curls that would last all night! She was in pageants and did gymnastic and jazz and it stayed curled until after the crowning! Don't use hot sks or curling irons daily because your hair will break so badly if it is like her hair. She used Fizz-ease to help with split ends and conditioned well every hair washing.Believe me we tried everything and the old timey pink sponge rollers curls the ends for flippy and kept it in better condition than anything. If you just want flip,don't use gel and roll it a little damp. Roll it around the rollers about 2-3 times and go to bed.In the am. take them out and brush your hair with your head hanging down. Brush from the nap of your neck through the full length and flip your head straight up. The you will have body and flip. Best wishes. get it layered and buy a a straightener. your supposed to hold your ends with the straightener and turn it outwards and that how you get the flip on the ends. you can try it with a curling iron too but it'll be softer/rounder

yea u can get ur hair kinda wet and get a blowdryer and one of those brushes that go around..i forgot what there called but yea and u get ur hair and then put ur hair on the brush and then put the blowdryer on the hair ..or the brush and then like..spin the brush around..so it gives u a flipy thing..

if ya know how to work it with a hair straightener then u'll achieve the look ya want. you just get a hold of the right amount of hair in the hair straightner, keep it taut and then curl it outwards. then spray it or gell it to keep it like that.

well i have the same problem but a friend let me borrow there Curling iron and see if i liked it flippy and i did so what i use it a curling iron with a 1 inch barrel i tried useing a straightener but i dont like the look when you use a straigtener it make to i dunno but i would try useing a curling iron if i was you!
