OK I HAVE REALLY STRAIGHT HAIR AND I WANT IT CURLY OR WAVY. I DONT WANT A PERM AND I DONT KNOW WAT ELSE TO DO I HAVE TRIED MANY THINGS BUT IT DOESNT SEEM TO WORK I ALSO SONT WANT TO USE A CURLING IRON

My hair wont curl in a curling iron. I also so straight hair and mine is thin and i have tons of it. The only way my hair will curl is if i put it in sponge colors why its wet and sleep with them on. In the morning if there not all the way dry i hair dry them on low. Then i spray hair spray on them from about 2 feet away but not indiviudually or they will stick to bad. Just a quick spray over the whole head. Then i unroll one at a time and spray it individually. This still won't hold all day for me but i do what i can. Also, if i spray a piece of my hair with hair spray, and then curl it and spray it again, it will hold. i no you dont want to use a curling iron, but thats the prettiest way to curl.... for way just sleep in it with braids. If you want it really wavy do lots of little braids, if you want gentle waves do do braids or only 1. good luck!

anyway what you can do is put in some scrunching gel or hairspray. and make ur hair curly.

when you get out of the shower instead of coming it put gell or mouse in it and scrunch your hair. then blow dry it so it drys it faster and it should get either waves or the crimped look.

ok well first u wash ur hair. then after that u put aussie mousse in it and blow hair dry it. ur hair will usually come out curly but sometimes wavy.depends.

Hmm ... well I would suggest a perm or curling iron ... but since you don't use that you could always braid your hair at night before you go to bed ... and in the morning when you wake up take out the braids and your hair should be really curly.

if you want your hair wavy then braid it when its wet. and keep it like that overnight and take out the braids out in the morning. it worked for me. good luck. o and as for curly hair. i think the only way to get it curly is using a curling iron. hoped i help! = )

if there is a claires store that you can go to, go there,

and look around and you will find these pink curlers. There are 12 of them in one bag. After you shower brush out your hair and then roll then in. They are flexible so all you have to do to secure it is to just bend the tips together. When your wake up in the morning, take them out and you will see 12 globs of curly hair. spread them out so that it is even and wont fade throughout the day. after your hair dries, it will be lushious and curly! Trust me, i do this too!

I have very straight hair naturally, and when I want it curled, I do rag curls. Curling irons don't work well for me, and neither to normal curlers, but rag curls are great and really easy.

Basically, get a bunch of little strips of fabric. It can be any fabric, though I don't suggest silk because it'll slip out of your hair and fall off. They should be maybe an inch wide, and five inches long or so. Not an exact science or anything, just around there.

When you hair is wet after washing, seperate it into segments. The smaller the segment, the tighter the cirl with be, but you have to experiment a bit to figure out what you like best. Tie a strip of fabric around the segment of hair, at the top, not the tips. Wrap the rest of that segment around the fabric, then tie the ends of fabric together, and you should have a nice little wrap or hair all curled up much like if you set it on curlers.

Do the same all the way around your head for the rest of your hair, wait for them to dry (I usually slept with them in, since I wash my hair at night) and then take them out in the morning. Be gentle when you brush (use a wide toothed comb) when you brush them, or you'll brush the curls out. And don't fret if they're not even all the way around; they rarely are, but no one notices.

I had the same problem, but try this, it worked really well with me!

1. shower

2. squeeze all the water out and let ur hair dry for like 5 min.

3 run your fingers thru with about a handful of mousse and distribute evenly.

4. put it in a tight spiral bun

5. sleep with it or keep it in all day (depends when u do this)

6. take it out put a little more mousse in it and scrunch it a little (depends how scrunchy u want it)

7. spray each area with a little hairspray and voila!
