I've permed my hair. my hair is naturally curly nice curls but i prefer straight hair. after a month or so. my new growth of curls show up making my hair look puffy and alot of volume. So what shampoos and conditioners will help me achieve straight long hair, along with using my conair ceramic straigtener.

I personally don't think that shampoos and conditioners do much to help, but make sure use a heat protectant spray before blowing it dry. Spray each section of hair with hair spray before you run it though the flat iron.

Thermasilk works great! It moisturizes your curls and when you flat iron your hair is smooth and sleek! They also have a volumizing shampoo and conditioner that is GRRRREAT! If you use the Thermasilk leave in cream it makes your hair extra soft and no flyaways or frizz!

The best way I straiten my hair is with a double headed blow dryer then run the flat iron on the top. If you dont have a flat iron a real iron will work too it actually works better its just a little more difficult...use a towel. The best shampoo believe it or not is the new Herbel Ess...the blue bottles, way better than Rusk or any salon treatments!!! Good Luck

It doesnt really matter what kind of shampoo you use, but make sure you always use conditioner, then when you get out of the shower, put in leave-in conditioner. While straigtening do it in sections, put ur hair hair half way up and straighten the bottom and visa versa.

I use pantene Pro V smooth and sleek...it works wonders on my hair...but it's weird I have to use both the shampoo and the conditioner for it to look the best. Also make sure you hair is completely dry before you straighten it. Sometimes I have to wash mine at night and straighten it...and then get up and run through it again for it to get some of the waves out...Good luck!

Well, if you don't mind spending the money, you should get a Chi hair straightener. They get very hotm and work great, but wont damage your hair. First, get a creme to put in your hair before you straighten it, then take your hair down in layers and straighten each layer until you are all done. Get a shampoo like Herbal Essences Dangerously Straight Shampoo and conditioner. It is inexpensive and will help.

they dont frizz out your hair it keeps it straight%26amp;under control.
and for the straightner conairs arent that good, it depends on how much your willing to spend but CHI are about $200, but you can get knockoff ones for $100-80, or if you dont need a really fancy one try revelon ceramic straightener i have it and it only costs $20 bucks!

I use rejoice or pert shampoo and creamsilk (green). It makes my hair shiny and silky..You wouldn't believe it seems that I''m the model of that shampoo..Try it and you will see...

i did the same thing and what i do is use herbel essences dangerously strait shampoo and conditioner and the after i get out of the shower i use studio line hot strait from loreal then after i straiten it i use just a little of sunsilk anti poof and it wont make ur hair greasy but it will be shiny and strait

You could try "Straight Ahead" shampoo and conditioner by
John Frieda it works great for me. With this and your ceramic straightener you should get the results that you whant hope this helps good luck!.
