Ok, well if I were you. (I have really straight hair too.) Go get it cut like shoulder length and layer the ends. Thats what I did and now I love my hair!!

ok. first shampoo and condition ur hair then DONT BLOW DRY IT! put ur hair in a braid and tie it up with a hair scarf then the next day it will be curly.

ok here is how to get a perfect blowout:

it will still be straight but it will have more volume and be smoother.

apply styling cream to damp hair from roots to ends.

spray volumzing sprayat the roots

on medium heat partly dry your hair

pin up all your hair and let down 2 " wide pieces

dry every 2" piece with a mixed bristle round brush

blow dry each section 3 times from roots to ends.

to dry the top half take each section and dry it from ends to roots by rolling the brush under.

when finished spray hair with shine spray.

For more stylibility, get a layered cut, (long layers or short layers....your choice) then get a perm. If the hairstylist uses a rod larger than a white one, you won't have a curly perm. I alternate the pink %26amp; gray rods %26amp; get a nice curly perm %26amp; once it relaxes, I love it even more. If you opt to go with a perm, just remember, you can't wash it for two days, as that's how long it takes for the cuticle layer (outside layer) to completely close. If you shampoo sooner, it'll pull much of the perm out. Don't condition your hair for a week, then do so each time you shampoo, but don't overdo it, or your hair will be limp.

P.S. As someone here said, the bigger the rods the more curl......that's not true......the smaller the rod, the more curl.

Two ways you can curl your hair without using a curling iron:

1) Roll your hair in rollers (WITH! hot water) and wrap. Unroll the next day to get nice beautiful bodied curls, or 2) Braid your hair (wet or dry) in mediam sized braids. Wrap it up and unbraid the next day to get kindof a crinkly/wet curl.

*You can also "french" braid your hair to get a bigger crinkle curl. Either ways, your hair will become curly!
