How do I get that super sleek straight hair?

I have really thick hair, and I also have lots of it. I do straighten my hair with a flat iron, and all... but it never gets as straight as I want it to get.Does it have to do with the thickness of my hair?Or because I have alot hair? Any suggestions?

i got lots of thick hair and i've tried so many things to get it straight

theres a serum you put in your hair then you blow dry it

then i straighten it

make sure your hair is completely dry

they also have other products to go with it like spray or cream

you could always ask your hair person for some tips because they always do it perfectly

my hair person recommended bed head control freak serum...it straightens and controls frizz and is green (it wont be green in your hair tho...lol.)

Just try out different things.

I know it's a pain but soon you'll find what works for you.

I use the Chi straightner, that works pretty well.

Honestly, the straightner doesn't really matter that much, but the Chi spray and silk infusion are amazing to get hair straight.

Also, layering your hair can make it much more manageable to straighten. Report It

Go invest on a the Chi!!! its AWESOME!! Yes it does matter what kind of flat iron you use. This one is ceramic, it heats up in seconds, plus its what the hiar salons uses! It will cost you a pretty penny but its WELL worth it! They run about 120-150ish. Report It

Straighten it bit by bit - small pieces - that normal works for me along with various shampoos / conditioners/serums etc. Remember to wash and blow dry in the a few hours before(I do it in the morn) don't rub with a towel and blow dry by pointing the dryer down your hair, so as not to frizz it.
