when you get out of the shower, instead of blowdrying it, just brush it over and over until its almost dry, then go to bed. in the morning, brush it out again, and use a hair staightner. it works really really well for me. good luck! :)

I think you should get the straightener I have, its called remington wet to straight, its only like $23.00 at Walmart! It works great!

Use a Chi straightener.
1. Chi silk infusion (only use about the size of a dime)
2. emulsify it in your hands and run it through your hair.
3. Spray Chi Iron Gard on your hair. This will protect the hair from the heat of the iron.
4. Divide the hair into sections.
5. Straighten the hair with the Chi Straightener.
This process will keep your hair straight for 3 days to a week. Or until washed.
The wet to straight ones dry out your hair and damage it unless you get a really good one from a beauty supply house.

You are probably fluffing up the hair with your blow dryer that is why it is unruly. You need to point the dryer downwards to smooth out the cuticles of the hair so they lay flat. Dry it as much as you can with a brush (preferably a large round brush with natural bristles) first, then apply a hair serum lightly (rub it in the palms of your hands) and straighten with a good hair straightener - GHD make the best ones. The more you pay the better you get. Use the ionic ones - kinder to your hair. Finish off by spraying lightly with hair spray and smoothing your hair down with your hands. Good luck!

I think you are asking how to get straight hair?
Blowdrying it straight pretty much sucks and doesn't work unless you already have naturally straight hair.
Let your hair air dry all the way, then spray heat-protection spray all over your hair. This will keep it from being as damaged from the flat iron.
Use your flat iron to straighten your hair. If your hair is thicker, you'll have to pin up some of your hair and straighten it in sections. The best straightener for just about anyone is the Chi. It's about $120 at stores, but you can get it on ebay for under $100. It's totally worth it. If you can't afford it, look in beauty supply stores or Wal-Mart for one. They go for around $30 there.
If your hair gets frizzy and wavy from humidity outside, put your hair in a low bun and pin back any bangs. Don't brush away your part or you'll have a bump in your hair when you take it down.
Happy hair!

well i use a ceramic hair straightner. just go to any store and make sure you buy a ceramic straightner. they tend to be on the expensive side though ... the really good one. not ceramic will only keep ur hair straight for 2 to maybe 4 hours if no moisture is in the air. ceramic will hold for a whole day :D

I've purchased two different hair straightening products at Wal*Mart.
1. Worked great...hair came out very straight. Damage to hair was not nice, however. Cost...$5. It was not a lye product, but it contained that other strong chemical...(I forget the chemical's name, but it starts with G.)
2. A relaxer lotion/neutralizer combination...worked somewhat...they recommend you use it every three months and your hair will get straighter each time.
I apologize that I cannot remember the specific product name for either one...the first was in the section for African-American hair care. The second was targeted at less curly hair, but was located on the same aisle.
Hope you enjoy wearing your hair straight as much as I do!

you could get it permanently straightened. thats what i did. it lasted about 9 months and cost about $600, but i could get out of the shower and not even brush it and it would dry PIN STRAIGHT!! i lived in Florida (humidity) and have very thick curly hair. i loved it, but to be honest, i started to miss my curls after having it straight for about 3 yrs. good luck!
