I have naturally straight flat hair. does anyone have any tips, advice, and/or links to add lots of volume? right now I tease my hair, but I don't want to cause any long term damage. and its a pain in the neck anyway lol. thanks!!

dont backcomb the hair, this puts it under a lot of stress. Tip ur head upside down, the get ur hairdryer, and blast the roots. then tip ur head up, and leave it. Ur hair should now be volumised! Get ur hair cut in a way that adds lots of volume, and use volumising shampoos and conditioners!

um....i dunno what to do really but some ideas is just curl the front a bit even if you down have a curler you can curl it around something round and this may work i cant really explain. but i know what your going through.
