Wats the best style for straight hair?

I m always confused to opt for a good hairstyle. My face is oval and in my opinion its the best shape which can fit to any hairstyle. The problem is i hav medium straight silky hair.everytime when i go for steps i cud not get that look and finally i go for simple U shape cutting.Cud u tell me whether step cut is suitable for my hair or not?

This is what I have noticed on and off the runway and on celbs:

-Wavy Hair (Like you've been to the beach)

-Volume

-Angel curls

-Sexy Messy Look

-Chic Updos

-Also if your face is oval you can pretty much part it any way you want, I like the sexy side part :)

Hope this helps :)

Oval faces are the most versatile face. Many different styles will work for you, but no matter the length of your cut, you'll look best with layers near your cheekbones, lips or chin -- basically whatever feature you want to highlight.

You will look best when styling your hair off your face. Avoid wearing your hairstyle on your face as you'll cover your face shape behind the hair and it may appear to add weight to your face.

Look at the links below for some ideas. :)

hair styles-

braids- 1 or 2, french braids (search how to french braid on Q search), side braid

ponytails- half, side, pigtails

buns- loose and messy

gel- scrunch it

iron- straighten it, curl it, crimp it

accessories- headbands, scarves, cute clips, cute bows, bandanas.

hair part- part it on the side

bangs- clip them up

here are some suggestions to get wavy/curly hair. i havent tried some of them, but i ve heard that they work-

curl with iron or rollers

put some hairspray in ur hair before going to bed and the tossing and moving will create random waves

braid ur hair and when u remove it there will be waves

put some defining product in ur hair and keep twirling it around ur finger. then, finger comb gently through to separate the waves

use sea salt spray or surf spray. sea salt will give really pretty beach waves

scruch it with gel

about the haircut, ask ur hair stylist

good luck.
