Yes, they are worth it. I bought mine around 5 yrs ago and they are still going strong - and I use them most days. I have quite thick, slightly wavy/frizzy hair and the GHD's really do get it sleek and straight in just a few seconds. My sister has really fine hair and she uses them too. I have tried cheaper straighteners and none have been any good whatsoever. I think you should - the cost per use of mine must be miniscule!

I have really curly hair and 3 years ago bought some ghd straighteners. And believe me its the best thing iv bought. And they are still working now. I think they will stop your hair from flicking out, as they some how manage to keep my curls away all day.lol

Yes GHD's are the best. They may be expensive but they will work for ever. I have had mine for four years and they are worth every penny.

yes ghd's are very good but damp weather can still mess ihairup!! get them, straighten your hair and then use serum afterwards and it should keep it straight!! had ghd's for 3 years!still gr8..but be careful as having thin hair you will prob get breakages as i do so def use the serum..good luck x

Yes, GHD's are definitely worth it. I know they cost a lot but they're brilliant, they straighten anything! My hair is totally diff to urs, it gets pure curly %26amp; goes a bit frizzy as well but the GHD really calms it down. i've tried a lot of straightener and the only that works properly is the ghd.

They last for ages as well, ive mine about 4 yrs and its still goin strong, even from constantly using it

Are GHDs Worth it, I have quite straight hair but it has horrible Flicks to it.?

YES! My mum bought me a GHD because I straighten my hair often. I have very frizzy curly hair, my curly hair is beautiful (when it's not frizzy and just wet) but recently I had a haircut suited to my 'straight' hair and got layers which are NOT GOOD with curly hair. So I am stuck straightening my hair until they grow out.

Just make sure you use protection spray! I bought my protection spray (that is the GHD brand) from the hairdresser where we bought the GHD.

Protection spray is very important otherwise you will damage your hair..but to cut a long story short GHDs are worth every cent.

They are small, easy to use and work like a charm. Seriously, buy one.

GHD's are good - though i dotn own a pair - they use them at my hairdressers.

I own a pair of remmington hair straighteners, and i can honestly say, they are really good!

They take about a minute to heat up and get very hot, though dont damage your hair (esp if you use heat protection stuff). They straighten my hair in one go, and my hair is quite curly.

The straightness also lasts for ages, until my next wash - so about 2 days which is really handy if im in a rush before college! I got mine about 2 years ago and theyre still in great condition.

Remmington have released varying straighteners with different features, so its worth checking them out.

Also, it doesnt break the bank - unlike GHDs! They cost around 鎷?5-鎷?0

Greatest invention ever, my thick frizzy wavy hair is now straight in 15 mins instead of sort of straight in an hour. Get them off ebay tho - way cheaper!

i would definatley recommend u to invest in GHD's they are a little expensive but they are sooooo worth it.

i straighten my hair, and curl it (my hair is really thin too) but when i curl it into loose curls it looks much more volumised.

maybe u should put hairspray onto to your hair to keep it in the style u like.

invest in GHD's worth every penny :) good luck

Yes like everyone else has said, GHD's have to be the best straightners on the market.

Although GHD's will make your hair straight, you will need to use good decent hair products to tame your hair and protect it from the heat.

Try using kerastase, or redken, or tigi products, and it should improve the condition of your hair.

If you want to buy GHD's, then go to your local salon in your city, if you dont want to buy them from there. Buy them off the net. Here are some websites that sell them.

YES YES and YES!!! Buy some!! My boyfriend got me the thin ones for Christmas and I couldn't live without them....I have thick hair and it used to take me about 30mins with Remington's and then I'd have to go-over it as it flicked out at the ends which was a pisstake and then I'd get too hot and stressed out (like ya do lol)...but with GHD's it take me about 15-20mins and I don't need 2 go over it...even though i do so my hairs prob f****d lol......also I would reccommend buying L'Oreal Studio Hot Straight Cream it's in a pink bottle and costs in between 鎷? - 鎷? and its great...you just put a blob on your hand and run it through wet hair and then comb afterwards....this protects your hair from the intense when blow drying and straightening especially if you got GHD's as they're HOT HOT HOT!!! The cream also smells great and leaves your hair smooth and sleek....hope that helped!!!
