My hair is shoulder length and very very straight. I really want loose wavy/curly hair but nothing I have tried works. I don't know what to do. Even if I get my hair to curl it falls out an hour later. Any suggestions?

this is what i did i brought the conair heat rollers that brings 3 different sizes %26amp; the tresemme curl activator spray.

keep your hair str8 %26amp; let the rollers heat for about 20-30 mins. divide your hair in small sections, apply the hairspray %26amp; put the rollers on w/ the clips-u can use all the different sizes-u can do ur whole hair just like that. leave in the rollers for about 30 mins for tighter curls or leave it less time 4 looser curls. then take the rollers off, but don't pull on them. then comb your hair so that the curls are better looking, %26amp; apply some more curl activator spray for finish touches. i usually take the spray w/ me-just for emergencies.

i have the same problem, i just tried a volumeizing moouse on damp hair then blow dry then curl it or wave it in smaller sections then hair spray it as u go

My hair is the same way. As a matter of fact, I used a curling iron and it fell out in 10 minutes! Frankly, I gave up. You may want to try a perm if you want it badly enough. I'm sorry I couldn't help you more, but I feel for you, I really do.

well you can always get a perm or you can use matrix products they are what i used to keep my hair straight and they have many other products to do the opposite

first, try a curling shampoo/conditioner. After you get out of the shower, try a curling mousse or spray. I reccomend Got2Be Kinky. (its an orange bottle by Got2Be). rub the mousse in your hands and then scrunch it into towel-dried hair. (meaning take your hands and scrunch your hair towards you scalp with the mousse) Small sections at a time. Leave your hair to dry, and for extra curl, wrap your hair around a hot curling iron. If curling irons do not work, you can try spraying some extra hold spray onto your hair and the iron. You can also try sleeping in curlers. To help, start with damp-ish to dry hair, spray small sections with ultra hold spray before wrapping curlers in it. you can also try hot rollers, and to use these follow the directions.

Well its really hard to achieve that loose, wavy curl on anyone. what i do is i take a shower at night, and when my hair is about 50% dry, ill apply mousse to it. Then ill blow dry it to create volume. Then use a curling iron to curl all your hair. Try to make the curls as tight as possible. Sleep on it. When you wake up in the morning the curls loosen. But some parts would have flattened so just curl those parts again. Or if you have to take a shower in the morning. Do the same thing but after you curl your hair, take a straightener and go over the curls. Dont push really hard on the straightener, just so that the curls loosen. Last but not least, apply some hair spray all over. Hope this helps.

my hair is just the same but i found that if u braid ur hair wet and sleep with it and take it out in the morning it is wavy

braid it wet and loose it will be curly
