When I was 4 I had really curly hair... then when I was about 14 my hair was super straight (I had the bowl cut) and now Im 24 and my hair has gone back to being really curly. I really want straight hair and am wondering if I just have to wait another 10 years.

YES! Your body chemistry changes every 7 yrs. You don't know when the 7 yrs. starts or ends , so it can happen at any time. I would just do a gentle straightner for now, and see what happens next. Good Luck!

well i had super straight hair the frist few year of my life everyone said i got my moms mexican hair then when i turned 7 i got wavy hair witch was pretty then when i turned 10 my hair got so curly and everyone sad i got my dads black hari(im mixed) i think that about every 7-10 years your hair changes texture and slightly changes color like it get darker but not drastically or you could still have the same color

You can keep your hair straight. When you wash them just iron them with a low temperature and while ironing keep streching them. This will keep them straight. Also your hairstyle may be making them curly,so choose your hairstyle with care. Choose hairstyles where your don't have to roll your hair much.

Wow, That really sucks. I had really curly, frizzy, hair when I was younger, then it went to straight, then when I hit puberty, it went curly again. Then when I got pregnant, my hair went straight. It stayed that way for 4 years...but now I am going through menopause (at 27) and it frizzed and curled again. You can always buy a straightener and keep it straight yourself. Usually changes like that occur with hormone changes
